Tasmania Zoo receives no government funding, adoptions through the Adopt an Animal program support us with the valuable funds that contribute to:
- Breeding programs that assist with conservation
- Wildlife exhibits and enclosure maintenance
- Veterinary needs
- General animal husbandry needs, such as food and enrichment items
By adopting one of Tasmania Zoo’s animals, not only do you have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference, but you will also receive the following gifts of appreciation:
